Frequently asked questions
ProPlay wipes come in a compact, resealable package that can be easily clipped to your golf bag. This makes them readily available for golfers who ride in a cart or those who prefer to walk when they play. Either way, ProPlay wipes are right there at your fingertips.
While the packaging and cloths are similar, the ProPlay formulation is very different than standard baby wipes. ProPlay wipes have been specially formulated for an intended purpose: to be an effective scent-free cleansing wipe that won’t leave an oily residue on your hands. Baby wipes have aloe, lanolin, glycerin and oils intended to leave a smooth, oily residue. Besides, baby wipes stink!
It probably depends on how often you play and the weather condition. If it’s hot and you are perspiring, serious golfers prefer to wipe down or clean their grips after each round they play.
The ProPlay grip cleaning wipes are safe to use with all types of grips, whether leather, rubber or composite.
The cloth wipes found in our packs are a cotton spun lace material. We don’t want to make biodegradable claims about the cloth for a couple of reasons. We would need to investigate what a biodegradable claim truly means in each country these are sold into and we don’t want to encourage any user to think it is acceptable to discard these onto our beautiful golf courses. Any used wipe should be disposed of in a trash container, as stated on the back of each pack.
The liquid formulations are different and the wipe cloth is different. The cloth used in the Grip cleaning wipe is stronger, heavier and thicker than the wipe in the Ball – Club cleaning packet. Also there are 20 wipes per pack in Grip cleaning pack and 18 (since a round of golf has 18 holes) wipes per pack in Ball – Club cleaning pack.
